Reid Wiseman is a national treasure.
"The offshore illumination comes from fishing boats, which use enormous arrays of bright green LED lights to attract squid and plankton to the surface.
According to an an Oct. 2013 article on NASA’s Earth Observatory site by Michael Carlowicz, ‘…fishermen from South America and Southeastern Asia light up the ocean with powerful lamps that attract the plankton and fish species that the squid feed on. The squid follow their prey toward the surface, where they are easier for fishermen to catch with jigging lines. Squid boats can carry more than a hundred of these lamps, generating as much as 300 kilowatts of light per boat.’” - source
I had to find out what those green lights were…
Our friends at Freshness Mag stopped by our NYC headquarters to check out the style of our three managing partners: Coltrane Curtis, Lisa Chu, and Sky Gellatly. They explained their style and inspiration while also sharing how they’ve emerged into their roles at Team Epiphany. Their style is top-notch, but their stories are even better.
Find out what they were wearing and more HERE.
#RP from @beeboisseau This is a rarity. I generally don’t deviate from my set lists nor do I flex the #Classical art outside of private events/requests, #Fisk gatherings or black history month (LBVS, SMH). However, one of the #Cleatz staff members heard me do this a few months back & shared that it was a positive turning point for her… So I shocked the room (band included-LOL) mid-gig & sang The Lord’s Prayer. I just felt… Right. Thanks for getting this Bee! #Repost #JoFoKe #JoIsMe #Singer #Denver #DenCO #Music
